I am the one who is at rest. I am the one who is nurtured in your arms. I am the one who can sleep wherever I am. I am the one who is at peace. I am the one who is restful, even amongst the crowds and multitudes of restless people. I am the one who can take time out. I am one of many in the stream. I am the one who sleeps peacefully amongst the hordes and the masses. I am the one who is in the flow and quietly goes about my way without disturbing the universe. I am the one who feels safe to rest. I am the one who knows when I awaken that things will be fine. I am the one who can take time out from all the noise and rest wherever I am. I am the one who takes solace from time with myself. I am the one who is restful and peaceful, without any clothes. I am the one who feels completely safe. I am the one who is safe without any adornments or trappings. I am the one who knows where I belong. I am the one who will not be swayed by the stream or the masses. I am the one who is here to show myself for who I am. I am the one who they have come to see, for there is beauty in the quiet. I am the one who follows my path. I am the one who is evolving.
2. What do you have to give me?
My gift to you is inner peace. My gift to you is rejuvenation from deep sleep.
3. What do you want from me?
I want you to know that it is safe to take time out to rest and rejuvenate your body, your mind and your spirit. I want you to know that it is OK to stop. I want you to know that by taking time out, you honour yourself so that you are refreshed to do what it is you want to do. I want you to know that I am here for you, keeping you safe. I want you to know that you are beautiful, just as you are, in all of your nothingness. I want you to know you are exactly where you need to be.
4. Is there anything else you want to say to me today?
I want you to experience deep peace. I want you to know that the world can continue to flow around you without dragging you into the slipstream, for you are at rest. You are peace within yourself.
5. How will I remember? (What is your symbolic gift to help me remember?)
The sight of crowds will remind you to take time for yourself, for your own peace. Babies sleeping will remind you. The sight of fish will remind you.
6. What is your shadow side/positive aspect (What is your negative and positive intent?)
I want you to know you must take time for yourself to rejuvenate and rest. A lack of proper sleep, deep personal sleep, mental rest, physical rest, spiritual rest will cause you to disappear into the abyss, into the multitude. On the positive aspect, with appropriate rest you will be able to be seen, to convey what it is you are here to do. Adequate rest will re-energise.
7. What is the meaning of this card? It’s Essence?
Take time to honour yourself by giving yourself enough rest to be able to do the things you are trying to do. Know that you can do so, peacefully, safely without detracting from what it is you are trying to achieve.
